Saber Interactive is developing NBA Playgrounds for a digital PlayStation 4 release on May this year. The game features some fast-paced 2-on-2 matches for some good arcade fun. It will include all 30 current NBA teams, not to mention an extensive roster of both current and retired NBA stars.
You can pay the game on your own or play in local or online multiplayer matches. Or how about you take on the rest of the world during an online tournament?
Matt Karch, CEO for Saber Interactive, had this to say:
Basketball is such a pick-up-and-play sport at heart – we really wanted to bring that spirit into gaming. NBA Playgrounds has a lot of depth for pros who’ve mastered their game, but it’s accessible enough that anyone can jump in, have fun and feel competitive.
