TCG Card Shop Simulator from O.P. Neon Games is a trading card shop sim experience in which you’ll be working on selling cards, building your collection, running tournaments, and earning enough money to keep the cycle going. You’ll be able to design your very own card shop as you sell booster packs to earn the money you need to upgrade, improve, and expand your business so that it can reach its full potential. Work hard on making the customer experience as seamless and smooth as possible and set your prices just right, so that you can maximize your profit margins… while also taking advantage of having a card shop so that you can rip open some packs and expand your collection.

As you open booster pack after booster pack, you might end up finding some of the rare cards that are worth a lot of money. If that happens, you’ll be able to sell them to earn a lot of extra money. Or, you know, you might want to keep them in your binder so that you can complete your card collection. After spending some time in Steam Early Access, TCG Card Shop Simulator is now ready for its 1.0 release on Nintendo’s current-gen hybrid console.

The game is played from a first-person perspective, so you’ll be taking control of your character by using the left analog stick, as you use the right analog stick to move the camera around as needed. Sprint by pressing and holding down the ZL button. Crouch by pressing in on the left analog stick. Jump by pressing the ZR button. Take an item with the B button. You can interact and place items by pressing the A button.

Open your card album by pressing the Y button. When reviewing the card album, you can switch between pages by using the L and R buttons to go back a page or move up a page. You can also jump 10 pages at a time by using the ZL and ZR buttons to go left and right, respectively. Be sure to sort out cards in the binder so that you can, say, separate them based on price, amount, type, duplicates, or total value.

Press the X button to bring up your phone. From there, you can use your phone’s camera to take a picture, purchase new decorations for your store, submit cards to be graded, purchase metal racks, cabinets, play tables, and other stuff for the store, expand your store, recruit staff for your store, review the current market prices for different card packs and card boxes, and manage your stock.

You can also order stock for your store – such as officially licensed Ultra Pro penny sleeves, toploaders, playmats, card holders, pocket pages, and more – as well as card packs and card boxes for the Tetramon collectible card game – more on Tetramon in a bit – accessories, and even some figurines. You’ll need a ton of money for this, as well as level up your shop to unlock new purchase and upgrade opportunities.

Another important part of the experience is keeping your card shop in tip- top shape. You’ll need to keep it clean so that more people want to visit. This will be extra important when you’re running tournaments and have several players visiting. What game will they be playing? Tetramon! Yes, it’s certainly a take on our beloved Pokémon series, with a variety of monsters – and their evolutions – that will certainly remind you of the Pokémon we all know and love. And you will certainly be able to play Tetramon with the cards from your collection!

Once you’ve stocked your store, you’ll need to flip the Open sign to let customers in. They will either be interested in buying stuff from your stock or will be bringing some of their cards to you. Pay attention to the current market price of each item so that you can maximize your potential profit. As long as you’re getting paid more for each item than what you paid for it, you might even want to offer some of them below the current market price so that you can get some extra customers through your doors.

Once a customer is ready to check out, interact with the cash register and then scan each item so that you can come up with their totals, collect their money, and, if needed, give them their change. Once the transaction is over, press the R button to give them their ticket, so that you can take care of the next customer in the line. Oh, and some of them might pay with a card, so you’ll need to input the amount on the terminal and charge them. Every sale that you make will give you some experience points as well, which will allow you to level up your store. Leveling up is needed to be able to purchase rarer stock, new items for your store, or to unlock additional apps on your phone.
