[PS4Blog.net Interview] Blue Sunset Games On Tiny Hands Adventure | PS4Blog.net
We’re currently working on a review for Tiny Hands Adventure, so I got in touch with Blue Sunset Games to talk a bit about the game’s development for it’s Nintendo Switch release.
PS4Blog: Hi! Welcome to PS4Blog.net. Could you please get us started by telling our readers a bit about yourself and your work?
Hello! We want to thank you for this opportunity – it’s nice to talk to you guys! We are Blue Sunset Games, a team from Poland with some already released titles and a passion for old-school classics. That’s why you can feel the 1990’s spirit in our games!
PS4B: Tiny Hands Adventure is out on Nintendo Switch. How would you describe the game to someone who’s never heard about it?
Tiny Hands Adventure is a platformer game where you help a young and cute T-Rex named Borti on his quest to find better hands. Why? Because he wants to be a better goalkeeper in his village of Dinoburg! That’s how the story goes. You will definitely feel the vibe of old classic platformers like Crash, Croc or Gex. We don’t have an open world here, just a set of levels you need to beat so that you can face the boss and repeat the cycle. While doing so, you will unlock tools for Borti to use, such as mechanical arms.
PS4B: How long did it take to develop the game for Nintendo’s console? Where there any particular challenges or hurdles you had to overcome during development?
The game was made in around eight months. We wanted to make the game as beautiful on Nintendo Switch as we possibly could, and that was no easy task. But now a lot of reviewers say that graphics is one of the strongest points for this one and that the game is one of most beautiful indie games on Switch – even when played in handheld mode. It was a real pleasure making Tiny Hands Adventure for Nintendo Switch.
PS4B: Are you considering working on some additional stages for the game to be made available as either free or paid DLC or do you consider that Borti’s tale for this first game is best left as originally intended?
Yes, we do have plans to add some content for free – if you bought the game and showed support, we will do the same. We also take notes on Youtuber’s videos and on reviews so that we can work on patches if needed. We will definitely support the game.
PS4B: And now it’s time for us to go. Would you like to add anything else before we end this one?
Thanks again for this review. We also want to encourage players, both young and adult, to try Borti’s adventure and enjoy the game that we cooked up. All the best!
