Area 35 | PS4Blog.net
We’ve had a lot of fun with TINY METAL: FULL METAL RUMBLE and Wargroove, so I got in touch with Area 35 CEO Hiroaki Yura, Chucklefish CEO & Wargroove Lead Designer Finn Brice, and Marketing Lead Katy Ellis to talk a bit about both games and their collaboration. Come check it out!
PS4Blog: Good afternoon, and welcome! How’s everyone doing?
Hiroaki Yura: Doing well, thank you! We’re hanging on in Tokyo despite the CV and pollen allergy we all have, but all in all, it is a great time to be working in the Games Industry as we attempt to use our gifts and talents to give people around the world some positive distraction and escapism!
Finn Brice: We’re not bad, thanks! We’re currently working remotely to isolate ourselves and do our bit to fight COVID-19. Whilst this presents its own challenges, we’ve found it very much doable and urge everyone else who can to do the same!
TINY METAL: FULL METAL RUMBLE is the sequel to the fun tactical turn-based war game that Area 35 released back in 2017. How does this sequel perform? Find out in our TINY METAL: FULL METAL RUMBLE review!
We’re working on a review for TINY METAL: FULL METAL RUMBLE, so I got in touch with Hiroaki Yura to talk a bit about the game. Come check it out!
PS4Blog: Good morning! Thank you for once again joining us. How are you doing today?
Doing very well, thank you! On my flight back to Tokyo from Sydney’s SMASH! I’m very sorry for the delay in answering your interview questions!
We’re currently playing TINY METAL for our review, so we got in touch with the game’s producer and director to talk a bit about its path to the Nintendo Switch.
PS4Blog: Hi! Thank you for taking the time to do this interview. Could you please introduce yourself to our readers and tell them a bit about your work?
My name is Hiroaki Yura, and I’m the Producer and Director of TINY METAL. My job is to simply make sure everyone is happy, and I lead everyone in the same direction and goals.
