Welcome To Hanwell
We’re working on a review for Welcome to Hanwell, so I got in touch with Nathan Seedhouse to talk about the game’s development and its release for the PlayStation 4.
PS4Blog: Welcome to PS4Blog.net! Thank you for joining us this afternoon. Can you please tell our readers a bit about yourself and your work?
Thanks for having me. I’m Nathan Seedhouse. My interest in game design was there from an early age, or in media in general. Before Hanwell, I was making short films trying to get my foot through the steel door that is the film industry. I made a short called Anomaly, set in the same universe as Hanwell, and I sat there thinking about all the possibilities for this new universe, so I was inspired to expand on it.
I saw an ad for Unreal Engine which had recently been made free, so I figured I had nothing to lose and gave it a go. Then I got carried away, dragged my friends in, and even hired a composer! After thousands of working hours, we now have Welcome to Hanwell, which marks my first release in the video game industry.
