Final Fantasy is a franchise that hooked me since its very beginnings way back on the original NES, and I’m still amazed how far it has come! And now there’s a new game making it’s way to Sony hardware in a sub-series called World of Final Fantasy, a release that will feature the return of the Active Time Battle system in all of its glory!
And what’s even more interesting is that it’ll release this year on October 25th for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita!
I am Setsuna is an upcoming RPG from Tokyo RPG Factory and Square-Enix which is aiming to be as great as the best RPG we used to get back on the 16-bit days – and it specifically has a Chrono Trigger vibe to it. I’ve been very much looking forward to learning more about the game as soon as it was announced!
In Japan, where the Vita is stronger than here in the West, I am Setsuna also released on Playstation Vita, but Square-Enix has unfortunately announced that they would not be bringing the Vita version to the West, leaving us only with the PlayStation 4 option. Honestly, I’m just happy this game is getting localized at all!
So, here’s the new E3 trailer!
