Grids of Thermometers from Frozax Games is a chill logic-based puzzle game on Nintendo Switch. Learn more about it in our Grids of Thermometers review!
Grids of Thermometers from Frozax Games is a chill logic-based puzzle game on Nintendo Switch. As the name suggests, you’ll be working on filling up a grid of thermometers with mercury based on the numbers on the different rows and columns for each puzzle. These numbers will let you know how many cells must be filled in each row and column, and you must use your logic skills to find out which cells must be empty.

At first, it might seem similar to Nonogram puzzle games, such as, for example, Nonograms Prophecy or the colorful Logic Pic, but each puzzle in Grids of Thermometers will have you working over a grid that includes thermometers that you must fill up with mercury from the bulb – that would be the base – and outward.
The game can be played by using the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con or by making the most of the console’s touchscreen when playing in Portable or Tabletop Mode, or if playing Grid of Thermometers on a Nintendo Switch Lite console. When using the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con, pick the starting point of a thermometer by using the left analog stick or the D-Pad, and start to fill up a thermometer by pressing the A button.

If you want to mark a cell as empty, you can do so by pressing the B button. Doing this will make that cell turn blue, to make it easy to distinguish it from the cells that have been filled with mercury inside a thermometer, which will be red instead.
