Easy Delivery Co. from Oro Interactive and Sam C is a cozy and chill driving game with no secrets. Nothing odd is going on. Nope. After you’re hired as a delivery driver at a scenic mountain town that has now been hit by rather inhospitable weather. You could freeze if you stay outside for too long, so when you see the screen start to freeze… find some shelter! Making deliveries under these conditions won’t be easy, but at least you’ll get to learn more about the town and its residents. Your kei truck will allow you to earn a living as you use some of the money for gas to keep the cycle going.

Easy Delivery Co. Review - 1

To get started with your new gig as an EasyCo delivery driver, you’ll need to pick and confirm the jobs that you’ll take on by using the Job Selection Software. Your payment will be provided once it’s verified that the goods have been delivered. The jobs will have different loads for you to deliver, and you’ll need to consider the distance you have to drive. Your first task will be simple: select and complete one delivery job.

Your character – which seems to be an anthropomorphic feline – can walk around by using the left analog stick, and you can press the A button to interact with other characters or with items. Once you’re ready to make a delivery, you’ll be pressing the ZR button to accelerate as you use the left analog stick to steer your truck. You can hit the brakes by pressing the B button. You can go in reverse by pressing and holding down the ZL button.

Pressing in on the left analog stick will allow you to switch the camera around as needed. You can press the – button to pick a job to take on. Press the L button to open up the map and check on your items. The Y button will turn on the lights for your truck. You can turn the radio on by pressing down on the D-Pad, and switch channels by pressing left or right. Press up on the D-Pad to scan for signals.

Working on deliveries each day will require that you make the most of your energy. Maybe getting an energy drink from the vending machine can help you? You’ll also be advised to get a lighter from the Depot. This does mean you’ll need to complete a handful of deliveries before you’re able to afford it, since it’s priced at a hefty $29.99! The lighter will allow you to burn away some branches that are blocking the tunnel to Snowy Peaks, which is the access to a whole other segment of the map.

It’s there that you’ll be told you need some snow tires if you are to traverse the area, since, you know, Snowy Peaks is packed with snow, and your truck is not equipped for this! And no, you can’t even leave Snowy Peaks and return to the previous part of the map if you don’t buy some snow tires. You’ll need to take on some local delivery jobs to earn enough money. Or you could have taken an intercity delivery on your way to Snowy Peaks and be handsomely rewarded for your efforts!

Easy Delivery Co. Switch Review - 4

You can customize how the game is presented to you by either changing the font used or switching the intensity of the CRT effect that is being used. You can go all the way from a flat screen to a really curved and flickery CRT if you want to, which adds to that old-school feel. Easy Delivery Co. is out on Nintendo Switch with a $12.99 price tag.
