Clash: Robot Detective – Complete Edition from Penguin Pop Games, Ratalaika Games, and Drone Garden Studio is a quirky mystery visual novel on PlayStation 5. The game takes place aboard the high-tech cruise ship Violet Skies, where it seems that its robot staff has been getting hacked! This is bad news since it turns the robots violent, so you’ve been hired by Clash – a sentient robotic police assistant turned investigator – to find out the one responsible for all of this before it’s too late.
It’s now up to you to work alongside Clash to interrogate any potential suspects so that you can hopefully find the culprit. The choices that you make along the way will affect how the case unravels, as well as which one of the available endings you get. Stat values for good cop, bad cop, friendly, compassionate, indifferent, and hostile will change based on choices. The game uses a presentation that sorta looks a bit glitchy. This was done on purpose by the game’s developer to represent Clash’s distorted and limited view of the world, what with him being a robot and all that.
If you’re new to visual novels, you should know that they’re games in which you interact with a story by reading a lot of text as you get to learn more about the main protagonist and the different characters you’ll meet. There are some that feature voice acting for their characters, but that’s not going to be the case for Clash: Robot Detective – Complete Edition. Voice acting is, after all, a very expensive resource! Some visual novels have you taking on a journey that could end up with you finding love along the way with one of the potential romantic suitors. That’s also not going to be the case for Clash: Robot Detective – Complete Edition.

Each list will be split into 10 Bronze trophies, 6 Silver trophies, and 8 Gold trophies. Trophies are tied to specific choices made along the way, as well as to the different endings you can get based on said choices.
