My Night Job from Webcore Games and Soft Source is an arcade-style beat ’em up set in a creepy building. Your task will have you using whatever weapons you can get your hands on to defeat as many monsters as possible as you set out to complete sets of objectives, such as rescuing people or defending rooms from the onslaught. There are over 60 weapons for you to use, so be sure to try as many of them as possible to find the right one to get the job done! Keep your run going for as long as possible, because if your health runs out, or the monsters destroy too many rooms, then you’ll be done for and will need to start all over again. It’s a game that has been inspired by classic action games and 1980s horror movies.

Once you’re ready, you’ll be controlling your character with the left analog stuck or the D-Pad. Jump by pressing the B button, and attack enemies by pressing the Y button. You can dash by pressing the A button so that you can hopefully avoid incoming attacks as needed. You can also press the L button and R button to dash left or right, respectively. Duck by pressing the down direction on the left analog stick or the D-Pad, which will hopefully help you avoid some attacks that aim at your upper half. You should check boxes for weapons that you can use to defeat enemies. Just press the up direction on the left analog stick or the D-Pad to search inside and hope for the best!

As you rescue people inside the mansion, they’ll join your group, and some of them will be able to defend themselves against the monsters as you rush to get them to the chopper that will take them to safety. The more people you rescue thanks to the chopper, the better the bonus you’ll receive. You could get a boost for your overall money so that you can climb higher on the leaderboards. You could receive a med kit that will instantly heal some of your wounds. Who knows, you could get a powerful gun with limited ammo that can deal considerable damage, which is going to be great for taking on the larger monsters that are out to get you!
