Miss Rosen’s Wowtastic! Marching Band from Meringue Interactive is a colorful and quirky story-driven puzzle adventure on Nintendo Switch. You’ll be joining the titular Miss Rosen, a clockwork majorette who has managed to escape from her music box, as she travels around the world to take on a series of puzzles that will test your luggage-packing skills, all wrapped in her TV show extravaganza. Your journey will have you exploring 12 magical lands as you work on solving 60 puzzles of increasing difficulty. While Miss Rosen is very good at packing things, a little extra help from you can’t hurt, right? You’ll be joined on this one by Dunno, a young boy who can transform into a fierce dinosaur. Dunno will become Miss Rosen’s cohost for this entire season.

The game can be played by either using the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con or the console’s touchscreen when in Portable or Tabletop Mode or if you’re playing Miss Rosen’s Wowtastic! Marching Band on a Nintendo Switch Lite console. If using the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con, you’ll use the left analog stick to move a pointer and use the A button to grab and drop items as needed. You can also use the ZL and ZR buttons to rotate objects left or right, respectively, so that you can find the best way possible to make all of them fit before the timer runs out. The rules for puzzle solving are simple: two objects can’t occupy the same space, and, you know, you must finish a puzzle before the timer reaches 0.

Worry not if you start feeling a bit overwhelmed if failing one of the dozens of timed puzzles you’ll run into. If you fail several times, then Miss Rosen’s Wowtastic! Marching Band will kindly offer you the option of skipping that particular puzzle so that you can, well, march on. This is only an option you have, so you’re not forced to skip the puzzle. Maybe when you’re feeling stumped, you should take a step back, breathe a little, and come back more relaxed as you focus on learning from your mistakes and apply what you’ve learned from them!
