I got to review Crime Boss: Rockay City on PlayStation 5 a few months ago. It’s a first-person heist action game from Ingame Studios and 505 Games with a star-studded cast that provides their likeness and voices to this experience. This includes Michael Madsen as Travis Baker, Kim Basinger as Casey, Danny Trejo as Dollar Dragon, Danny Glover as Gloves, Michael Rooker as Touchdown, Vanilla Ice as Hielo, and Chuck Norris as Sheriff Norris. It’s a B-movie-style experience on Sony’s console, and it’s now received some DLC.

The DLC in question is Dragon’s Gold Cup, which brings Danny Trejo’s Dollar Dragon under the spotlight. This time around, Travis Baker sets to team up with Dollar Dragon to try and steal the King’s gold to prove that you have what it takes to be the next Crime Boss. It adds a new plotline for the story campaign to get yourself ready for the big heist. Along with new missions, there’s also a new elite enemy, and if you can pull things off, Dollar Dragon will join your crew. This is why the DLC also includes the exclusive Blue Dragon character skin.

Crime Boss: Rockay City – Dragon’s Gold Cup offers a new storyline that brings an interesting twist to how the main campaign for Crime Boss: Rockay City develops, new goals to complete, and a solid challenge to take on. Teaming up with Dollar Dragon was a nice change of pace, and having there be new content available in the different game modes is always a good choice. There are no new trophies added to the game from this pack of additional content, which might feel like a bummer for trophy hunters out there.

If you have had fun with Crime Boss: Rockay City, its roguelite loop, and the overall gameplay mechanics, and want more Dollar Dragon – a.k.a. Danny Trejo – in your life, then buying the Dragon’s Gold Cup DLC is a no-brainer. It’s more of the same, and more of something you enjoy is always a good thing. The Crime Boss: Rockay City – Dragon’s Gold Cup DLC is available on PlayStation 5 with a $9.99 price tag.
