Are you ready to dive back into the mayhem of an idol café? Then check out our Would you like to run an idol café? 3 review!

Gamuzumi and Starlight Tree Games are back on PlayStation 5 with the third entry in the visual novel series Would you like to run an idol café? with the aptly titled Would you like to run an idol café? 3! Do know this one is Rated M for Mature experience with fan service, so it’s not going to be for everyone! You’ll once again take on the role of Yokoyama Naoya, who is just an average guy. He’s got brown eyes and brown hair, so it would be very hard to spot him in a crowd since there’s nothing about him that would make him stand out. He’s also of average height and has average grades. This leads him to do some pretty wild things, such as bleaching his hair, getting a bunch of piercings, skipping school, roving the streets, drinking, and getting into many, many fights.

He drew all of his friends away… except for one: the lovely, sweet, and caring Suzuki Ichigo. She’s the one who’s stuck with him through the good and the bad, never losing faith in Yokoyama Naoya. It did take a couple of years for him to get his act together, but things eventually changed for the better. He managed to graduate, but his effort was not good enough to get into the university of his choice. He’s taking some time off to focus on his personal life while working at a small café, and it’s there that your journey continues.

He lives with Ichigo as they share a new apartment in a seaside town, trying to make ends meet and making the most of their situation. Unlike Naoya, Ichigo was a great student, which means she got good grades and didn’t fail any of her exams. Thanks to this, she manages to enroll at a nearby university where she’s studying to become a nurse, all while still working at the small café on top of all of the hard work needed to get good grades at her university! And even when she’s really, really tired, she’s always smiling, happy about her life and where things are going.

The Seaside Café has certainly seen better days, which is why idol group Sweet Shoreline was created to help promote it, with the idol group going viral. Things are so hot that Sweet Shoreline is invited to an idol competition in Tokyo, where they might have a shot at winning the big prize! Unfortunately, rival idol group Honey Devil is also part of the competition, which could end up complicating things.

Since this one is a Cross-Buy title, that means that those of you that own a PlayStation 5 console will be able to download both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game at no extra cost. This is very important for you trophy hunters out there since each version of the game features its own trophy list… and each of said trophy lists has a Platinum trophy! Each list includes 2 Bronze trophies, 7 Silver trophies, and 9 Gold trophies. Trophies are linked to reaching specific story paths and getting each of the different endings in the game.
