Pupperazzi has landed on Nintendo Switch, so I got in touch with Tanya Short from Kitfox Games to talk a bit about it. Come check it out!
PS4Blog: Hi Tanya, long time no talk! How are you doing?
Heya! All is well here, just getting back into the swing of things. I traveled for a couple of weeks after GDC, but now it’s time for normal workdays again. It’s an adjustment to remember how to sit at a desk.
PS4B: And now Pupperazzi is ready to go on Nintendo Switch. What can you tell us about this charmingly cozy game?
I can tell you… dogs, dogs, dogs! I’m not sure any other game has as many dogs. Like, in terms of count or breed. And if some other game DOES have that many dogs, it probably doesn’t have double jumps. And if it does, I’d bet $100,000 you don’t play as a camera. This is a mild spoiler, but, Pupperazzi is also one of at least three of our games that involves GOING TO THE MOON. I might have a fixation.
PS4B: It’s been over a year since the game’s Steam launch, so I was wondering if you could let our readers know what has changed between the original version’s launch and this Nintendo Switch experience.
They’re the same game! Our partners at Laundry Bear did a lot of work to make sure the saving and performance were both good enough for the Switch, so it plays smoothly and feels great to take photos of dogs on the go, wherever you are. No need to wait for cute dogs anymore — bring them with you!
PS4B: Any chance we could see Dwarf Fortress also making the jump to the Nintendo Switch?
LOL
PS4B: And that’s all the time we have for today. Would you like to add anything else?
Have you petted a good dog today?
