This is a black and white story without words about the love of a brother and sister, a harsh upbringing, the continuity of generations and the difficult lot of young people living in the outback. You just need to carefully look at the frames. A story that makes you think.

Sister from DillyFrame Games is a graphic novel without any words, experienced one panel at a time about grief and family. Through its five chapters, you’ll follow the story of a brother and his sister. Going through the story images should take you a couple of minutes per chapter at most since there is no dialogue for you to read. In all honestly, after going through the five chapters, I could hardly tell what the actual story was.
Outside the very short Story Mode, you can go into a mode called Ballons, where you’ll have to obtain balloons and jump over obstacles in an auto-runner similar to the Google Chrome dinosaur mini-game when you’re out of Internet access. Obtaining all the trophies in this mini-game should take you between 3 to 5 minutes tops. Since this is an actual game, I preferred this mini-game over the graphic novel segment. The art style of this game is unique, and I liked it. The soundtrack was also great.
If you’re reading a review for this game, you are probably aware that this one offers a very quick Platinum that will definitively pop within 5 to 10 minutes. This game is NOT Cross-Buy between the PS4 and PS5 versions. There is a generous list with 36 trophies in total, and the requirements are going through the five chapters of the graphic novel and completing various objectives in the Ballons Mode, like jumping from 1 to 20 times – with each increment awarding you a trophy – and fetching 20 ballons in a single run. If you need some extra help, here’s a Sister Trophy Guide for you.
Sister is a very short graphic novel with a great art style and soundtrack, but after experiencing the few minutes of the story, I was still confused about what was going on. The Balloons Mode was fun since it’s a simple and to-the-point autorunner experience. This game is hard to review. If you’re looking for a different gaming experience, this one will not restore your craving. This one should be considered only for trophy hunters wanting to add a new Platinum to their collection in a few minutes and without any effort. The game is available for only $0.99 on PlayStation 4. There’s also a PlayStation 5 version available as a separate game with its own trophy list, which retails for the same low price.
