While the overall focus is still very much on the narrative experience and the point-and-click segments, being able to switch into Action Mode at any time to destroy this or that object to progress further is certainly a plus. The beat ‘em up segments are also fun and have been improved since the game’s Steam release last year without turning into something as excellent as, say, Streets of Rage 4.
