Parkasaurus from Washbear Studio is a dinosaur tycoon experience in which you’ll have to manage an amusement park. You’ll need to design the unique biosphere that each dinosaur needs to survive, as well as decide on the shape of the exhibit, the materials you’ll use, the plants in each one, the elevation, and even the humidity! Resources must be carefully managed to make sure that you don’t run out of money since you’re certainly expected to turn a profit on the whole operation.

To do this, you’ll have to pay attention to the reviews left by guests so that you make any adjustments as needed to be able to maximize your potential profits. Pay attention to guests as they visit your park, and you’ll get to see their reactions, which are also a great way of learning more about what is working and what isn’t. Your employees will also play a crucial role in the whole operation, so you must also balance things out by hiring rookies you can train to improve at their job or hire veterans that know what needs to be done but who will also cost you extra money.

To be able to learn all of the basics, you’ll need to take on the game’s tutorial since there’s a lot to do in this game. You’ll move the camera around with the left analog stick, zooming in and out by pressing up and down on the right analog stick. Pressing left or right on the right analog stick will rotate the view. Pressing the Y button will bring up the main menu, where you’ll be able to build wood or concrete fences, doors, donation boxes for visitors to donate money, trees for each biome, water for said trees and for your dinosaurs, benches for park visitors to take a little break, or some toilets for them to take care of their business.

You must also place some dinosaur eggs in each exhibit so that you can care for them and help the dinosaur inside to hatch. After this, you’ll have to care for them as they grow into mighty beasts! For this, you must feed them. To purchase food and accessories for your dinosaurs, you must visit the city. You could also ask for a loan if you’re a bit short on money, but you’ll have to repay it later with interest! You could go and buy some plants to feed your new dinosaur, but there is also meat to purchase, as well as new dinosaur eggs or hats to dress up your dinosaurs. There’s also the option of buying grass, bushes, or trees to decorate your exhibits.

Buying food won’t be enough. You’ll also have to buy a feeder where you can place the food! And to keep your dinosaurs healthy, you should check in on them and make sure they don’t fall ill, which is why it’s a good idea to hire a veterinarian! The staff you hire will have different stats to consider. The higher their level, the more effective they will be, but that also means you’ll have to pay them more. These stats are speed, skills, personality, digging, and how proficient they are at using tools. At the end of the day, you’ll get a chance to review all aspects of your park. When the day is over, you’ll be rewarded with hearts for each dinosaur that is happy or super happy.

Science will be a big part of your time with Parkasaurus. You’ll have to not only build a science center but also hire scientists and place them in science nods so that they can work on their research. Doing this will grant you science credits, which can then be used to unlock. Science credits can be used in the Parkasaurus skill tree to unlock new items for your park so that you can improve it, change its decoration, unlock new biomes, new types of fences and doors, new buildings, and more!

Your employees can also use a very useful portal to travel in time to be able to find and excavate fossils that can unlock new dinosaurs for your theme park. Since these expeditions take a lot of time, you should start them as soon as you open up your park for the day so that you can then continue to monitor your dinosaurs, attractions, and employees. Don’t forget that having happy clients and happy dinosaurs will be good for your bottom line!
