Are you ready for a new chance to escape from the haunting jokes of Cape? For this third game in the series from AlignmentSharp, the main character was on his way home back from a date with Todomi. Since he’s feeling a bit thirsty, he decides it would be a great time to drop by a convenience store so that he can get something to drink. Unfortunately, the main character was so thirsty – and so distracted – that he didn’t realize that he had just walked into a very weird convenience store that traps him!

You can play the game either by moving a cursor around the screen to interact with any useful objects, or you could also use the console’s touchscreen when playing in Portable or Tabletop Mode. You won’t only need to find the right item for solving each of the game’s puzzles since you’ll also have to pay attention to the visual clues in each area. There might be a pattern of lines in one spot that can help you open up a box, or perhaps you might find an ATM with some colorful animals that can help you know how to move some boxes with animals around to gain access to a useful, sharp object.

As has been the case with the other games in this series, Cape’s Escape Game 3rd Room is a short adventure game that you can complete in an hour or so, depending on your experience with the genre. Once you manage to escape from the convenience store, you’ll be able to take the game for a new spin with some new puzzles as you search for a set of hidden cards. Cape’s Escape Game 3rd Room is out on Nintendo Switch with a $9.80 price.
