[Unboxing] Unto The End

by EdEN, Owner

As the countdown to the New Year begins, it’s time for one more unboxing on Nintendo Switch. Check out Unto the End from Red Art Games!

Unto the End from Big Sugar Games and 2 Ton Studios is a gorgeous and challenging 2D experience in which combat is not of the button mashing variety. You’re going to have to pay close attention to your surroundings so that you can avoid traps and stay alive because the damage you receive is going to stay with you for the long run. Every opponent you face will have a different movement and attack pattern, and you must see how it moves towards you as it prepares to attack so that you can be ready to counter its attack. You also need to survive the harsh weather and explore each location you visit to locate enough supplies to survive. If you lose your sword or don’t have something to protect yourself with, you’re going to perish to the darkness.

You set out on this journey because of one simple reason: you must hunt for food for your family. Your wife and kids will hand you some items before you say your goodbyes so that you can start to explore the gorgeous but deadly world that Unto the End will place before you.

I greatly enjoyed Unto the End when I got a chance to review it on Nintendo’s console, and now it’s time to check out the physical version of the game from Red Art Games!

While Unto the End on Nintendo Switch does not feature a slipcover as has been the case for other releases from Red Art Games on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, it more than makes up for this with what’s inside the box.

Once you open the box, you’ll get to see the bonus art on the inside cover, the Unto the End game cartridge, as well as a booklet that will show some of the scenes for the game, giving it an art book feel.

You better hurry up to secure your Nintendo Switch copy of Unto the End before it’s sold out!
