We’ll be working on a review for Clid the Snail, so I got in touch with Weird Beluga to talk a bit about the project. Come check it out!
PS4Blog: Hi! Welcome to PS4Blog.net. Thank you for taking the time to join us today. Can you please help us get started with this interview by telling our readers a bit about yourself and your work?
We are Weird Beluga, a small game studio formed by five college friends.

PS4B: Clid the Snail is now out on PlayStation 4. How would you describe the game to someone who’s never heard about it?
Clid the Snail is a top-down shooter about a grumpy humanoid snail who has to fight the slug plague that is threatening his small world.
PS4B: How long did it take to develop Clid the Snail? Did you run into any specific challenges during the whole process?
It’s been around two years since we started working on the game as a small college project. Being an inexperienced team, getting the game to work on a PlayStation 4 has been something that has taken us a long time.
PS4B: With the game now out on Playstation, have you started to work on a new project, or are you currently taking a break?
We have our next project in mind. But, for now, we are working on the PC version for Clid the Snail that will arrive later this year. There hasn’t been much time to rest.
PS4B: And that’s all the time we have for today. Is there something else you’d like to add before we go?
Thanks for the interview, and thanks to everyone who’s played Clid the Snail!
