Golf Club Wasteland Review - 1

The game is a story-based golfing game in which you’ll get to take on a relaxing adventure with a simple UI that will allow you to focus on the ambiance, the gameplay, and the events surrounding your excursion to Earth. As you explore each area, you’ll take your shots and fly with your jGolf Club Wastelandetpack to reac the ball once it’s landed from your previous shot – that is, unless you manage to get a hole in one! You’ll also walk towards the ball if there are no hazards in your way – such as a pond. You can play in Story Mode, focusing on exploring the wasteland that is now Earth, with no pressure to speed things up. You can also play in Challenge Mode, where each hole is assigned a par value, so you have to hit the ball and get it to the hole without going over said par value, or you won’t be able to progress. And once you complete Challenge Mode, you’ll unlock Iron Mode, which means you won’t be able to make any mistakes along the way!

You’ll use the left analog stick to aim and then press the X button to shoot. The further in you press the left analog stick, the stronger your shot. Just take aim, set the angle, measure your strength, press the X button, and see the ball fly towards the hole! You can move the camera with the right analog stick and zoom in and out as needed with the L1 and R1 buttons. You’ll learn about this as soon as you start the game, as you listen to a broadcast from Radio Nostalgia from Mars, which then plays a very fitting song that helps to set the tone for your adventure on an Earth that has certainly seen better days.
