My Universe – School Teacher from Microids and Magic Pockets is a fun all-ages sim game on PlayStation 4. Your mission will be to work as hard as possible to bring the school to the top of the best schools list! It seems you wanted to get out of the city and live in the country, which is why it’s lucky that the school is still hiring during the middle of the year! Since it’s a new school, they certainly need more teachers. The good news is that you will take over a classroom where everything is brand new.

Your new adventure will begin by selecting if you want to play as male or female teacher. Next up, you can select its skin color and eye color and pick between the available hairstyles and hair color. Next up will be picking your top type, color, and variation, bottom type, and color – pants or a skirt if you’re you’re playing as a female teacher -, as well as your shoes. The last option will be if you want to add glasses to your teacher and if you want earrings or a necklace. The last step will be to give your teacher a name, and you’ll be ready to go!

Oh, but wait! You still need to pick a logo for the school from the different animal types, as well as a background color for it, and then you’ll get to pick the name for your school. You can also decide if your students will be required to wear a uniform, or if they are free to wear the clothes they want. In this particular school, kids have classes four days a week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. You will have to complete three activities with your class for each day.

Since you’ll be controlling a school teacher as you take on a variety of activities during the day, you’ll only have to worry about moving your character with the left analog stick, pressing the X button to move conversations forward. Depending on the class you have, you might need to follow a specific sequence of button presses to tell your class what to do, such as pressing the X button four times to start your lesson, and then pressing the Square button twice before a timer runs out. The Circle and Triangle buttons will also be thrown into the mix.

Depending on how good you are at your lessons, some of your students might get a star, which is good news for you as a teacher! Always collect as many stars as possible, since they mark your class’ progress. As your kids study, they will also gain knowledge. You will need to keep an eye on them since some of them might have a question for you, some might end up daydreaming, or others could end up falling asleep in the middle of the class! You’llYou’ll have to press button sequences, use the left analog stick to fill up a meter, or stop a spinning indicator with the X button over the green section to keep your students progressing through the class at a steady pace.

For some classes, such as geometry, your students might need some supplies before they can take on the lesson, so you might need to go into the closet to bring the supplies they need. After you give your geometry lesson, you’ll once again need to answer some questions and keep your students from falling asleep or not paying attention to the work that needs to be done, all as the timer on the upper left corner of the screen counts down the time left before class is over. Once the bell rings, you’ll move on to the next activity!

Depending on your performance during class, you will not only gain stars but will also level up the school. Every time you level up, you will gain a surprise as a thank you for your efforts. For example, you might get a new piece of clothing that you can use in the Customization menu to change your teacher’s look. You can also end up customizing your main classroom, the science lab, the studio, and the stage room, by changing the floor, wall, furniture, and overall type of decoration you’ll have.

Every now and then, you’ll get to play through a special event. Events are short segments during which you’ll get to learn new things about the school, your colleagues, and your students. You might, for example, get to meet Willy, the school’s janitor. His job is to keep the school clean for everyone. He’llHe’ll let you know that while it’s his job to clean up the whole school, everyone else at school also helps by tidying things up a bit here and there.

You can also decide to explore the school for a bit to get to know the facilities. You can check-in on students on the playground and the small plaza, visit the principal, visit the cafeteria, or check out the other classrooms. Who knows, you might run into one of your students who could need your help! For instance, one particular student is scared of playing hopscotch because she’s too shy and is afraid that others will watch her play. Talk to her for a bit so that she can understand she shouldn’t worry about that and should instead enjoy her recess, and she’ll be happy!
