We’re working on a review for Minoria, so I got in touch with rdein to talk a bit about the game. Come check it out!
PS4Blog: Hi! Good to have you back at PS4Blog.net. How are you doing?
I’m doing as well as I can in these crazy times. The year hasn’t been very easy for everyone, but at least I’m still here in one piece. I guess this is a pretty grim way to start this interview, lol.
PS4B: After giving us Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, you’re back with Minoria. How would you describe the game to someone who’s never heard about it?
It’s a side-scrolling action game where you play as Sister Semilla, a nun wielding a sword, and the story is set during a war against witchcraft. Players will explore various areas, watch cut scenes, and fight enemies with a combination of sword attacks, magic, parries, and dodge rolls.
PS4B: How did the porting process go for bringing Minoria to consoles? Were there any hurdles or challenges you had to overcome?
It was definitely a challenging experience. As for the hurdles and issues, there were too many to count. I easily aged ten years from all the stress!
PS4B: Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight got limited physical releases from Limited Run Games, so I was wondering if there’s any chance we end up getting Minoria on a PS4 disc or a Nintendo Switch cartridge.
Please direct these requests to Limited Run Games, as it is their business and their time/interest in question. Perhaps if enough people tell them they want it, they will consider doing physical versions for PS4 and Switch!
PS4B: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview. Is there something else you’d like to add before we go?
Please be good to yourself and others around you. For those who buy our game on PS4, thank you for the support. I sincerely hope you enjoy it!
