[PS4Blog.net Interview] Punkc Punk Studio On Apocalipsis Wordwood Edition | PS4Blog.net
We’re working on a review for Apocalipsis Wordwood Edition, so I got in touch with Punch Punk Games to talk a bit about the game’s development. Come check it out!
PS4Blog: Good morning! Thank you for joining us. Can you get us started by telling our readers about yourself and your job?
I am Krzysiek Grudziński, the creative director and narrative designer of Punch Punk Games. I am responsible for the overall feeling, look and history of the game.
PS4B: Apocalipsis Wormwood Edition is out on Nintendo Switch. How would you describe the game to someone who’s never heard about it?
Apocalipsis is a dark, adventure game with a unique visual setting and atmosphere. Game takes players into a different world inspired by medieval art and apocalypse theme. This is a story about love and condemnation. The game has two different endings and narratives recorded by Nergal from the Behemoth band.
PS4B: How long did it take to develop the Nintendo Switch version of the game? What is different when compared to the version previously released on Steam?
Work lasted several months. In the Switch version, players get a prequel along with the main game, which reveals the beginning of the relationship between Harry and Zula.
PS4B: With Apocalipsis Wormwood Edition out on Nintendo’s console, are you currently working on any other console releases?
We’re currently working on a PlayStation version that will include a special bonus for players.
PS4B And that’s all the time we have for today. Would you like to add anything else?
Yes, we’re now working on our next game that will tell the story of the legendary serial killer Zodiak!
