Cinderella – An Interactive Fairytale from Golden Orb is a release that presents young gamers with a new way to interact with the classic fairytale. Learn more in our Cinderella – An Interactive Fairytale review!
The game will get you started with a short tutorial showing you how to interact with things by moving the on-screen cursor with the left analog stick, and interacting with objects by pressing the A button. When interacting with things, you’ll also be able to grab things and move them around. After the tutorial, you can get right into the interactive story to experience it’s 22 scenes.
Your first interactions within the game will take place after Cinderella has told her evil stepsisters to leave her alone so she can complete her chores. First up you will be taking care of the dirty dishes. Once that has been taken care of, you will need to use the broom to clean up the area. You will notice that the game gives you little prompts to do things, both from the dialogue of characters as well as thanks to the golden sparkles that will shine around the screen.
The game is aimed at kids, so the tasks you need to complete won’t be too hard to figure out. This release is also fully voice acted, which makes it easier for kids to follow the story. The narrator will move the story along as you progress through different scenes by pressing the Y button. One short loading screen later (only lasting a couple of seconds at most at a time), you will be ready to carry on with new activities and interactions to take care of.
The story of Cinderella is a classic, and for this release, it has been adapted into video game form in a fun, interactive story that the kids in your life are going to get a kick out off. They will click on objects and characters to move the story along, completing some light puzzles here and there to help Cinderella with her journey from the house to the big ball at the castle, to what happens once the clock strikes midnight.
Cinderella – An Interactive Fairytale is a good option for the younger gamers in your life. It’s available for only $5.99 and offers an hour of interactive entertainment that will delight them thanks to the colorful presentation and the voice acting of all characters.
