With the recent release of Trails of Cold Steel II on PlayStation 3 and Vita, I thought it would be a great time to revisit the original Trails of Cold Steel, which I LOVED back when I got a chance to review it last year.
In Trails of Cold Steel, we get to follow a class of students on their way to save their country from a possible war. I’m not telling if they succeed or not in their quest, nor mention any of the twists to the story, becasuse this is certainly a game you have to experience for yourself!
The Trails Series is known for its epic story-telling and this Trails game did not disappoint. The story does unfold a bit slowly as you progress though the very long campaign – you’re looking at around 40-50 hours to complete the game, and longer if you end up going for a Platinum trophy run.
