[PS4Blog.net Interview] Fabraz On Slime-San Physical Editions
Slime-San will be betting a physical release thanks to Limited Run Games, so I got in touch with Fabraz to talk about this highly anticipated release.
PS4Blog: Morning! Thank you for joining us this morning. Could you please get us started by telling our readers a bit about yourself and your work?
G’morning! My name’s Fabian Rastorfer and I’m the founder of Fabraz and the lead designer of Slime-san! A game that released to the Switch with great success and is now getting a sexy retail copy thanks to Limited Run Games!
PS4B: You’ve been busy lately working with Limited Run Games on the physical Nintendo Switch release for Slime-San: Superslime Edition. How does this game earn the Superslime Edition distinction? What can we expect to find inside of the game’s cartridge?
The Superslime Edition includes ALL of the content patches we’ve created, that expand the game’s content by nearly 60%, as well as some brand new exclusive features such as: 10 unique extra levels, a play style where you can’t jump (?!) and a new setting called dynamic color mode.
PS4B: There will be a physical standard version, but there’s also a Collector’s Edition with extra stuff in the box. On that note, what will be included in the CE for Slime-San: Superslime Edition?
Yup! The regular version will be on a pre-order basis while the Collector’s Edition will be limited to a specific number of prints. It’s one heck of a package as it includes: A steelbook, a retail copy, a manual, 2 postcards, a soundtrack CD, a poster and a keychain! In addition to that you can bundle the CE with a cool plush or special blue/white print of our vinyl! That’s A LOT of slimy goodness right?!
PS4B: How goes work on SpiritSphere DX for its Nintendo Switch release?
Great! It’s currently in certification and we expect to launch in the first week of July! Fingers crossed!
PS4B: And that’s all the time we have for today. Would you like to add anything else before we go?
I really hope people enjoy the LRG runs of Slime-san, this feels like a celebration of sorts and I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished. Love y’all!
