Robot Entertainment is hard at work on Orcs Must Die Unchained, a new entry of the Free To Play (F2P) variety. The game is hitting PlayStation 4 on July 18, and PS+ subscribers will be getting some nice bonuses for playing.
While you don’t need a PlayStation Plus subscription to play Orcs Must Die Unchained (this being an online game), those of you with a PS+ sub will be getting an exclusive set with in-game currency, skins, consumables, and more. This set is valued at over $20, and is completely free to PS+ subscribers until August 17.
Laura Barrett, Community Manager at Robot Entertainment, had this to say about the game’s modes:
Survival mode lets players slay their way to the top of the orc pile in 3-player co-op defense gameplay. Sabotage mode puts two teams of three head-to-head; troll the opposing team with powerful spells designed to weaken their defenses and summon enemies to overrun them — but be on guard as they’ll be doing the same. Weekly Challenges give players the chance to conquer challenging, inventive scenarios. Endless mode will keep the orcs, ogres, and other uglies comin’ until you break.
