[Review Revisited] Sword Art Online: Lost Song

by Ceidz, Owner

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is a sequel to Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, a PS Vita release that I reviewed a few years ago. In this game, you’ll be back with Kirito in Alfheim Online, joined by all the friends he made in the different worlds he traveled to.

In Lost Song, you are traveling through the different worlds of the Alfheim Online game while destroying hordes of enemies and flying through the different areas. Maneuvering while flying feels solid and was relatively easy to pick up once you understood how the camera works. The quests are typical fetch quest / monster hunts, but the different dungeons are packed with interesting boss fights, which I liked.

Lost Song is not the best RPG in the Vita library, but it is definitely a fun experience. I liked it more than its grindy predecessor (Hollow Fragment), so if you were hesitating I am here to tell you that it is a solid release that will provide you with many hours of fun on Sony’s portable.
