Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness PS3 / PS4 differences | PS4Blog.net
As you’ve probably already noticed, I’m pretty excited for the new Square-Enix/Tri-Ace Star Ocean game that will hopefully make it to western territories this year, and later this month in Japan.
According to a very interesting post I found on DualShockers, there won’t be any direct difference between the content included in the PS3 and PS4 version of this game, but the PS3 version will run at 720p @30fps (said to be variable in some areas), and the PS4 counterpart will run at 1080p @60fps (also variable in some areas).
The PS4 has higher detail on physics, characters, backgrounds, effects, and higher draw distance for objects and enemies. The PS3 version has shorter draw distance and some parts are “reduced and simplified.”
You can check the video below to see some differences in action. Take note that this video has been recorded in 720p, so you won’t be able to see every differences there are in both versions.
Anyone here interested in this upcoming RPG?
