PS4Blog.net prides itself on being all about the Community. Everyone on this site simply started out as a regular visitor, including almost the entire blog staff. What makes this site what it is are those who take the initiative to post news. That’s where you come in.

If you want to help us with content on this site, this is the perfect page to get you going in the right direction. We continuously grant new people posting abilities all the time. Even if you only ever post one article, you’re free to return and post another whenever you like. You are under no obligation to write anything. Once you get in, you can even join the exclusive Co-Writer Group, in which we often give you guys chances to do some really cool things, including receiving review copies of games, as well as access to media events.

    How to become a writer

So what do you have to do? If you want to help us out and become a writer, just reply to this forum topic and Tosh will grant you access!

For your posting avatar you must set up a gravatar. That way you can change up your avatar whenever you wish.

If you feel you aren’t ready for the big leagues, you can start out small by posting QuickNews, which are the smaller articles located in the sidebar.

Until we feel comfortable letting you guys post freely, all posts will be moderated before they go live to ensure they meet our standards. Of course, if you are unsure of how to write something, the other writers can always lend you some pointers, and we also have a tips page for writers to use as a resource as well.

Hey, I’m absolutely stoked that you could grab ps4blog.net. I know it was taken, we were talking about it back then. I have been missing on PS3blog.net for quite a while but this PS4 thing fired me up. Of course (like several other million gamers(!) ), I know precisely what Sony needs to do with PS4 and the PSN, and I’m ready to talk about it.

Yup, Henning actually had it and let us have it! So be sure to thank him for that.

You both have access to post now.

@tosh, I had added an opinion piece but now I see it is truncated. It wasn’t truncated at all in the previews, but somehow the last parts are deleted now and I don’t have the original, I had added those portions right on PS4blog. If the contents and language is appropriate and something you are looking for on PS4blog, I’ll re-finish the piece. If it is not something that you wish to be on PS4, please let me know.

If someone has not accidentally deleted the last portion, there may be a bug in the system as the last time I submitted, the article was full.

Nobody has edited the post draft except for you. Look at previous revisions at the bottom of the post draft to see if the missing content is in there.

I don’t see any revision history, unfortunately. Maybe due to missing privileges? It should end with an unordered list.

My latest theory for the loss of the end part is now, I did a preview and it opened in a new page. In that preview, I also had the edit option. I used it and added the content in the new tab I reached from the preview tab, but finally to add the main image, I accidentally pasted it onto the old version in that separate tab.

And one more thing, the links in the article is barely visible, the anchor links look a lot like ordinary paragraph text. Maybe we should style it a bit differently?

Ah yes. If you have multiple post draft tabs open. That would do it. On the revision history to to the top right of the page and click on “Screen Options” and check the box for “Revisions”. I changed the link color.

I got it restored and re-submitted. Please let me know if it is not up to the standards you are going for on Ps4, my heart won’t be broken!

By the way, I think it is best Preview does not open in another window, or if it does, it should have no edit post button (counter-intuitive I know, but if you have double tabs and forget about the original tab, the auto-save draft feature may fight over the latest version, I suppose. Of course I should have been more clever about it.

Looks good. I just uploaded the first image and made the the featured image. Changed TL;DR to in summary. I had no idea what that meant, lol. Had to google it. I added a read more tag after the first paragraph and that was it. Very very minor things. Great write up on this! I posted this on N4G as well.
