BlogCast – Episode 264

September 20, 2017 |

It’s basically the all Destiny 2 episode this week after we go over the news. I give my initial impressions of the game, and a lot of my issues with it. Luckily one of my major issues is solved by Isli so that really helped me enjoy the rest of my play through.

Everyone on my friends list is playing Destiny 2, but what about you? Are you neck deep in the game? Waiting for the PC release? Let us know in the comments below!

This week’s episode is all about Isli’s Destiny 2 impressions, Xya still playing FFXIV, and the In the Name of the Tsar DLC for Battlefield 1.

We also get a release date for the long awaited bit of DLC for Resident Evil 7, and I give my impressions of gaming on an LG OLED TV.

Enjoy!

BlogCast – Episode 262

Despite PAX happening this past weekend, it was a light week for news on this episode. We got confirmed PS+ games for September, a cheaper PSVR bundle was announced, release dates for two PSVR titles, and Sony announced their conference time for TGS.

This week will see the release of two major bits of DLC and of course Destiny 2. I won’t be playing it immediately, but Isli will have plenty of impressions on the next episode of the podcast since he’s our resident Destiny expert.

I’m sure I don’t have to ask any of you if you’re picking up Destiny 2, since I’m sure you already are, so why not tell us your thoughts on the game so far in the comments below!

BlogCast – Episode 261

Well Gamescom went on last week but we didn’t really get a lot of news out of it. Even Microsoft’s showing was just a rehash of their E3 conference, and there were only few game announcements outside of that. Though with TGS and Paris Games Week on the horizon, not including PSX, I’m sure there will be plenty of news to round out the year.

We get into a bit of Hellblade this episode, though due to some glitches that Isli suffered we don’t get as in depth as I’d hoped. Perhaps next time.

I have since finished Uncharted The Lost Legacy, and I really enjoyed it. I’ll be sure to bring it up on the next episode. But what about you? Have you played Hellblade or The Lost Legacy? Let us know your thoughts on either in the comments below!

We’re down Isli this episode, but luckily there wasn’t much to go over when we recorded. I also didn’t finish Hellblade in time so I couldn’t get into further impressions, though I should have it done by the next episode.

Uncharted The Lost Legacy came out this week and I look forward to jumping in as soon as I finish Hellblade. I’ll definitely make sure I have some of that under my belt before the next recording.

Gamescom is currently underway but there hasn’t been much news out of it. Of course we will cover anything of note in the next episode. But what about you? Has there been anything announced or a new trailer for an already existing game that was shown which you’re interested in? Let us know in the comments below!

BlogCast – Episode 259

We’re back to a full crew this week, and with a good amount of news. Starbreeze announced their new game which is a Payday style co-op game but in World War II. It has since been confirmed that it’ll be coming to consoles, so that should be interesting.

Telltale made some comments on the poor sales figures for Tales from the Borderlands and how it effects the future of the franchise. It’s a shame since everyone I know who played it enjoyed it, but apparently it just doesn’t represent the numbers.

Horizon Zero Dawn’s DLC got a release date for November, so that’s another game I need to add to the list for this busy Q4 that is quickly approaching.

There are quite a lot of games coming out but we want to know what you’re most looking forward to. Let us know in the comments below!

Enjoy!
