Well Nintendo had their Switch conference and it was…interesting. The three of us get into it after going over the other news from this past week. I’ll be very curious to see how it’ll do, and we won’t have to wait long since it launches in March.
Speaking of March, we go over a lot of the upcoming games for the first quarter of this year and it’s a nice looking list. Of course I’m still playing a ton of Battlefield 1 so I’m not sure if anything will dethrone that as my primary multiplayer game in the near future.
What about you? What upcoming games are you looking forward to? Let us know in the comments below!
It’s the first podcast of the new year, though there isn’t much in the way of news so it’s just about games we’ve been playing.
CES is currently going on and I’m hoping we’ll get some good 4K TV announcements, mainly in the way of lower latency for gaming in HDR since that’s the biggest issue currently. Though we’ll have to wait a few more days for all of the big tech conferences to happen, but I’m hoping for a nice refreshed lineup!
It’s now the slow time in news with the peak of the holiday season, so we don’t have too much new to discuss this week. Though the extra time does allow Xya to talk about FFXV and Isli finally gets to talk a little Dishonored 2 with me. We don’t go into too much spoiler talk with either, but we do discuss a section of FFXV that is going to be patched in the future.
We get to take a bit of a dive into my dreams at the beginning of this podcast. I don’t know what was going or why I had the one I did, I’m not even taking any Alpha Brain currently, but you get to hear about it.
I suppose that’s a side effect of the slow news week due to the holiday, though we did get a ton of gaming deals instead. I ended up getting Dishonored 2 at a nice discount from GameStop, and while there were some other good PSN discounts as well I just couldn’t bring myself to add to my backlog.
