Life is Strange
Life is Strange is an episodic adventure game release from Square Enix and Dontnod Entertainment that released last year. In this adventure game, you follow Maxine who discovers that she can go back in time (to moments she’s already lived) to change events.
2015 is almost over, so it’s time for this epic question: “What were our best games this year”? We deliberated for a while and came up with a list that includes what we think are the best games of the year.
In this post, we’ll detail the best games we played in 2015 as well as some others we have yet to enjoy. Please keep in mind that we didn’t play all of this year’s releases and that we’ll focus on PlayStation 4 games for this post.
After you’re done reading this list, we want you to tell us about your best games!
Life is Strange is an episodic game from Square-Enix and Dontnod Entertainment that recently came to an end. I LOVED playing through this interactive story, and can’t wait to hear if they’re thinking about doing a follow-up!
Now Square-Enix has announced that they will be releasing a physical retail version on January 19th, 2016 for PlayStation 4. This new Limited Edition will feature the full five episodes (of course!), Director Commentary, a 32 pages art book and the soundtrack.
Square Enix has shared over at their blog that Life is Strange will end soon with Polarized, the final episode for the game. This is set to be released on October 20.
If you remember well, I’ve been pretty excited with this game so far and literally CAN’T WAIT for this release in a month! They do say however that it’s the date that they’re aiming for, so it’s not a 100% confirmation.
Life is Strange is an episodic game from Square Enix, which I’m currently playing, loving every minute of it. I’ve been liking the episodic game model (which the wonderful Telltale Games uses for its releases) since the first Back to the Future game. As for Life is Strange, we have been waiting on the consequences for the choices made in earlier episodes. After the end of Episode 4 for Life Is Strange, I can definitely say that the game is delivering on its promise!
With that out of the way, I want to let you know why I think that Life is Strange might be the best episodic game of the year!
Life is Strange is an amazing episodic game from Square-Enix and Dontnod in which you follow the story of a girl named Max over the course of an incredibly action-packed week! As of now, 4 of the 5 episodes have been released, meaning we have almost reached the end of this story. I purchased the game last week after hearing one of my friends tell me that “it is was cool” and I’m LOVING it so far!
