Crossing Souls is making its way to the PlayStation early next year so I got in touch with the team at Fourattic to talk about the game’s development.
PS4Blog: Hi! Thank you for joining us at PS4Blog.net. Could you please tell our readers a bit about yourself and your work?
We’re Fourattic, a small team from Seville, Spain. At the beginning, we were just four friends who wanted to make something different. There weren’t too many jobs in Spain when we started, so we talked about starting up our own company and doing some cool stuff … Oh, how naive we were!
That was more than four years ago and, since then, we have made all kind of things like websites, mobile apps and mobile casual games. But we weren’t making almost any money so, at that point, we were about to close the company. We decided to try one last thing before throwing in the towel, and that was to put all our effort behind what we really loved from the depths of our hearts: an adventure game.
We’ve been gamers since we were kids, so making a great game like the ones we used to play years ago was something “logical” for us. We discovered some great and successful games on Kickstarter, and we didn’t have anything to lose, so we thought we would give it a shot. Crossing Souls came up to our minds, and here we are!
