The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is a Japanese RPG, and the follow up to Trails of Cold Steel, which released last year, and which I LOVED. This second game follows the events of the first game, and boy is it good! Come read everything about it in this Trails of Cold Steel II review.
Attack on Titan was a smash with the anime community a few years ago and for a good reason: this anime was awesome! Attack on Titan the game follows the story of the crew you’ve seen in the manga and the anime, retelling the story in its own way. How did this anime translate to a game and was it good? Read it below in our Attack on Titan review!
Spoiler alert: It’s way better than we imagined and we had a blast playing it!
Odin Sphere is a side-scrolling RPG from Atlus and Vanillaware that released late in the Playstation 2 cycle, but that to this day is still recognized as one of the best games in the entire Playstation 2 library. Odin Sphere (PS2) was released as a PS2 Classics on the PlayStation 3 a while ago, but now Atlus and Vanillaware have worked on a full remake for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
I played through the entire game back when it was originally released a full decade ago, so I was more than ready to compare how this new release stacks up to the classic version!
Imagine this if you will: Angry Birds and Peggle are in a bar getting drunk and talking about Baseball. The conversation starts to get a little more interesting, so they decide to get a room to talk some more. Nine months later, Baseball Riot is born.
10tons brings the sequel to its 2013 release “Tennis in the Face” and if you’ve played that game then you know everything there is to know about Baseball Riot. My review is based on a PS4/Vita playthrough.
Trails in the Sky: Second Chapter follows the story of Trails in the Sky, a game that released on the PSP way back in 2011. “Trails” (no Kiseki in its native tongue) is a long-running franchise of RPGs that dates back as far as 1989 in Japan. Trails in the Sky is a sub-series set in The Legend of Heroes universe, and is developed by Nihon Falcom – it was translated by XSEED Games for us to enjoy. One of the other active (and downright excellent) sub-series has been reviewed recently at the site, so you should definitely check that review as well – Trails of Cold Steel Review.
Since this is the Second Chapter of the Trails in the Sky story, you have to be aware that this game is 100% a direct sequel to the previous game since the story for Second Chapter picks up only a few hours after the cliffhanger from the first game.
