We’re currently playing Caveman Warriors for our review, so we got in touch with indie Jandusoft to talk about the game’s development for PS4.

PS4Blog: Good afternoon! Thank you for taking the time to join us at PS4Blog.net Could you please get us started by introducing yourself to our readers and telling them about your work?

Hi! I’m Jose, also called “Jandu,” and I’m CEO of JanduSoft, producer of Caveman Warriors and also the porting/marketing guy.

PS4B: Caveman Warriors is releasing for PlayStation 4. How would you describe the game to someone who’s never heard of this game?

Smash aliens, ride dinosaurs and destroy an army in Caveman Warriors. That’s Caveman Warriors – and a 1-4 cooperative platformer game.

PS4B: Where there any big changes to what you had planned for the game between the time when it funded on Kickstarter back in March and what we’ll get to play on PS4?

Yes, we are going to have a limited physical version of our game. Take a look at our twitter account!

PS4B: There was a stretch goal for taking the game to Nintendo Switch which could not be reached. Is there still a chance of the game getting a release on Nintendo’s hybrid console?

Indeed! We’ve just announced that we’ll be bringing the game to the Nintendo Switch. There’s still no release date for the game on Nintendo’s console, so stay tuned!

PS4B: Now that the game has been released, are you considering developing any additional content for the game to be offered either as free or paid DLC?

Our game will have 2 DLC options at the launch: Soundtrack and Artbook. We will work on extra free DLC depending on the success of our game.

Just to remember that this is our first game for console/PC and that we are launching the game worldwide on multiple platforms at the same time. This was really stressful for us, but we are ready for launch!
