[Review Revisited] Trails of Cold Steel II
Trails of Cold Steel II is a Japanese RPG for the PlayStation Vita that was developed by Nihon Falcom and translated by XSEED. I reviewed this game last September and have been casually playing through the campaign since then. I’m revisiting this title today because earlier this week I FINALLY cleared the game, clocking close to 50 hours!

Trails of Cold Steel II follows the Erebonian Class VII, after the events of Trails of Cold Steel. I’m not spoiling anything right here, but you’ll spend the first third of the game wandering around known cities and dungeons before finally getting to new areas. The story is as great as the one for the first Cold Steel, and the turn-based battle system was still a blast to play!
Out of all the Trails games I played, my personal favorite is still Trails in the Sky SC for its jaw-dropping last third of the story, but the Cold Steel games are certainly up there, and you should definitely give them a try!
