[Review Revisited] Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack
Star Wars fever is about to hit in full once again with the release of Rouge One, so we thought it could be fun to revisit a Star Wars themed review! Clink the link to check out our thoughts on the Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack.
The Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack actually comes with two pinball tables to play: one based on the light side of the force and the dark side of the force. It was interesting to have the juxtapositioning of the two included in one pack.
The first table features Finn, Rey, and BB-8 and is set on the planet of Jakku. The table is really fun with its desert atmosphere and so many elements that will remind you of the movie. I also loved the inclusion of the Millenium Falcon since I’m an old-school fan of Star Wars and it really cheered me up. I still go back and play this table regularly!
The other one takes place on Star Killer Base and features mostly Storm Troopers but does include the underutilized Captain Phasma. It did some fun things, including a cool mini-table. However, the table is shown even when not in use and that can get a bit confusing during the fast-paced action.
This was an excellent pair of pinball tables to tie into a great movie, and it’s still fun to play a year after release. With Rouge One all but ready, I’m curious to see if Zen Studios will have anything up its sleeve for this release.
