PlayStation Plus Update For October- PlayStation 4 Edition

PlayStation Plus Update For October- PlayStation 4 Edition

Another great PlayStation Plus month for PS4 with a celebrated remake of a classic coming to the current gen, along with a game we would have killed to play back in the 1980’s!

PlayStation Plus Free PS4 Games Lineup October 2016

Resident Evil Regular Price: $19.99; Free for PS Plus members

The game that defined the survival-horror genre is back! Check out the remastered HD version of Resident Evil.

In 1998 a special forces team is sent to investigate some bizarre murders on the outskirts of Raccoon City. Upon arriving they are attacked by a pack of blood-thirsty dogs and are forced to take cover in a nearby mansion. But the scent of death hangs heavy in the air. Supplies are scarce as they struggle to stay alive.

TRANSFORMERS™: Devastation Regular Price: $49.99; Free for PS Plus members

Explore the ancient, mysterious world of Journey as you soar above ruins and glide across sands to discover its secrets. Play alone or in the company of a fellow traveler and explore its vast world together. Featuring stunning visuals and a Grammy-nominated musical score, Journey delivers a breathtaking experience like no other.

As always, for PlayStation Plus users who don’t have a PS4 yet, be sure to log in at the PSN Webstore to get the games added to your collection so that you can download them once you do get one.

Another great month with two amazing titles. Resident Evil Remake was praised heavily on Gamecube when released back in the day and also did well critically upon its release on current gen with its HD upgrade. Transformers: Devastation is from Platinum Studios who completely nails it with this action-packed Transformers 3D brawler.

It’s a great month with a great lineup, and hopefully a sign of how things are going to improve for PlayStation Plus with its price increase. What are your thoughts and what do you hope to see come to the service in the future? Let us know in the comments below!
